MMORPG's

How To Get Your Money Back
Many players have gone through this ultimate gaming frustration over and over again when their experiences in MMORPG's have fallen hopelessly short of the quality of service they should have received. Frustrated and irritated by this recurring MMORPG service theme, gamers are pushing back because they will not be 'griefed' by gaming companies anymore.
The following information can be an ace up yer sleeve in the future:
You need to have paid with a credit card for the money you want to get back.

You have the option to cancel your subscription, and typically a text field to enter why. Tell them in detail, tastefully and calmly. Leave the explicit adjectives out of it.
Call your credit card company and file a dispute against the company's billing, and the store from which you purchased it.
The credit card company will ask you why you feel you are entitled to a credit. Explain you circumstances. Maybe you feel you bought a game because the box stated it had a major feature that was not yet actually implemented or maybe the servers crashed too much...the bottom line is if you are making the claim, you probably feel you are not receiving the level of service you were led to believe you would get.
The credit card company will begin the process of crediting back the money you paid to the game company and send you some paperwork to fill out.
The game company may file a counterclaim later, saying they did indeed provide the services they advertised, but all you have to do is be persistant in your argument.
Think of it like this: if you walked into a retail store such as Wal-Mart and purchased an item, and once you got home the item you purchased did not perform as advertised, you would most likely return the item. Well, since most businesses have a very limited return policy on software (if at all), you just have to go through a few more motions to receive your credit.
The experience may have begun as a negative one, however, the end result is positive and empowering to someone who felt they dished out $50 for something they did not get (and felt they had no hope against a retailer's return policy).
*This option is not recommended as a form of spite against a game company to disgruntled players, but is intended for legitmate claims against quality of services provided. You work hard for your money!
